This project began shortly after the homeowners purchased their property in the Fox Run neighborhood of St. Charles. The landscape had seen little improvement over the years, presenting an opportunity to create a cohesive and timeless outdoor environment.
Working closely with the clients, we developed a comprehensive landscape plan that introduced defined bed curves, a diverse selection of plant material, and strategically placed landscape lighting. To support long-term performance, we also installed extensive storm water drainage throughout the property, ensuring proper runoff and a dry, usable yard in all seasons.
The result is a balanced landscape that enhances curb appeal, improves functionality, and complements the character of the home.
From the initial consultation, the homeowners expressed a desire to create a landscape that would stand out within their neighborhood while maintaining a refined, timeless look. We focused on structured planting beds, layered textures, and carefully positioned lighting to highlight key architectural and landscape features after dark.
The integration of custom bed lines and a curated plant palette brought visual cohesion to the property. A distinctive fox statue was incorporated as a welcoming focal point, adding personality and meaning to the overall design.
This transformation delivers both daytime beauty and nighttime presence, creating an inviting and functional outdoor space tailored to the homeowners’ lifestyle.
